Why I work with Resin
Experimenting with colours, and inclusions, is part of the attraction of working with resin. In addition to mica, pigments, glitter, I often add dried flowers, watch parts (Steampunk), beads, sequins, confetti, shells, and feathers. All it takes is a splash of colour and some sparkle, to brighten any outfit.
The beauty of a simple flower or pine cone often needs no other additions to make a stunning piece of jewellery, or decorative item for the home. Metal leaf can add a touch of luxury, and the range of colour pigments is extensive.
Taking inspiration from everywhere in order to make gifts, I hope my creations put smiles on the faces of both those gifting and receiving my work.
Every item is intended to be unique, unless a bespoke order of multiples are requested. One off designs can be made for you, including gifts, keepsakes, and memorial pieces, drop me a message here to discuss.
You can find more examples of my work on my social media platforms https://linktr.ee/ResinExpectations. These include clocks, decorated wooden boxes, earrings and pendants, paw print and letter keyrings.
